This band grew by 40 members over the previous year due to the closing of DuPont HS. The jump from 8th to 3rd is also the biggest year-over-year improvement in placement at COC in McGavock's history. This year's drill was the first McGavock show that didn't contain a single symmetrical (mirror-image) set.
