The McGavock Band hosts two events per year to expose future band members to the McGavock program. The next event will be in the fall during a Friday night McGavock football game. Middle school students are given the chance to march and play with the McGavock High School Band. To see photos from2006 year's event, Click Here.

Welcome to the award winning McGavock High School future member section. We hope you will take a look around and choose to participate in our program. Our musical endeavors at McGavock are wide and varied. From our 200+ member Marching Band to our three performing Concert Bands to our Winter Guard and Jazz Band, students work to "set the standard" of excellence. With the efforts of hard-working students, concerned parents, and a supportive community, the McGavock Band Program will continue to offer the best in secondary school music education. Expectations of McGavock Band students are quite high, and the rewards of meeting those standards are endless. Our students grow musically, aesthetically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
